The Rip Track Mill In Operation- 1920s Antique Photograph- Lumber Mill- Industrial History- Found Photo- Real Photo Postcard- AZO RPPC

$18.50

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique AZO paper real photo postcard from the 1920s. It shows a sun-washed industrial lumber mill and its workers. At the center stands a luminous silhouette of a man running a table saw, ghostly in the afternoon sun. Various lumber mill equipment fills the factory warehouse, a caged bulb hangs from a cloth covered wire overhead. "The Rip Track Mill in operation Dec. 10th, 1920", reads the caption written on the back. A RIP track, short for repair in place track, is a configuration of tracks for storing and repairing damaged train cars.

The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few small stains.
