(6 x 9 In) This is an original antique Paradise Bird / Sir Rook print, rescued page (23/24) from a damaged copy of Elizabeth Gordon's children's book "Bird Children" the cousins of the Flower Children, illustrated by M. T. Ross.

Said: "They're expensive, goodness knows!
I 'spouse, because they were so dear,
I'll have to wear them all year."

"SIR ROOK is English, don't you know?
Says: "Do not confound me with a Crow."
His family tree is large and old,
Which makes his manner proud and cold."
The print is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, a few tiny stains.
