"Dear Petie - Aug. 31, Well after lots of delays we arrived in C- an hour behind time. Mr. R. met us. Donald's Papa came up last eve. I have a terrific headache this A.M. We will be home Monday P.M. Wonder how things are at the house? Looks like rain today. We are to have an auto ride tomorrow if roads are fit. Be good until I get home. Love to Petie. Nettie." , reads the message written on the back.
