(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Gartner & Bender postcard from the 1910s. It shows a Kewpie style cupid listening for your response on a candle-stick telephone, "What's the matter? Anything wrong? Seems that I've waited awful long for some news of you, my friend, Where's the word you promised to send?"

"Hello Cabbage. I rec'd your card this noon. + was sure glad to hear from U. I didn't know you had left again. Why don't u stay at home. When U come back, I'll tell U what I wanted with you. What are you going to work at? How was the show. Will I must go uptown + see Harry. He is in town getting his buggy fixed (ha ha too much cabbage)", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, heavy wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, heavy wear along top edge.
