(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Success Series, Arthur Capper postcard from 1909. "SUCCESS - Caution - "Modest doubt is called The beacon of the wise. But you must take the current when it serves - Or lose your prize." Signed by artist, Frederick L Cavally. 

"Alpena, 1/9/11 - My dear Ni- Rec'd your card some time ago, and really should have ans'd before, I will make no excuses, How is your Mother now? Should like to hear very much. Everybody just the same up there? Write, please, as soon as you can.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, a few minor stains, album marks at corners.
