(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage MWM Color-Litho "Bursheen" Finished linen postcard from the 1950s. It shows a view of Yosemite National Park (Photo by Harry Vroman) and the words to "Yosemite" a poem written by Oscar G. Gibson.

"YOSEMITE

When God drew up the Earth's fiar plan.
Knowing that rest was good for man,
Carved out this vale wondrously fair,
Thrusting its walls into high thin air.

Nature's beauty for miles around
Came echoing back with joyful sound.
Exploring Man in great surprise
Stood on its rim with wondering eyes.

The Creator's work was now complete,
He tarried long in this retreat,
Where towering mountains' deep snow packs
Fed leaping, roaring cataracts.

He saw the vale a mile below
And falls the world has come to know,
Plunging with a thunderous roar,
to the tree-clad valley floor.

Half Dome reflected in Mirror Lake,
Where lustrous rays of the sun awake
A thing of beauty, charm and grace-
The Master Artist touched this place."
