(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage real photo postcard from the 1950s. It shows an Inuit hunter posing with a recently killed Beluga Whale. "Eskimo and White Whale", reads the caption printed on the front.

"Churchill, Manitoba - Monday, August 18, 1952. - Dear Stella and Kenneth, Mollie is really here and I never expected to see her in such a pioneerish looking place. I'm enjoying it immensely. Stuck my hand in Hudson Bay today and was it cold!! Have been watching white whales play in the water. Excuse pencil but all fountain pens seem to be dry. Thanks for the birthday card - as ever, Lou R.", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few small stains and creases.
