Warehouse, Boat and Fish House Washed Away - Disaster RPPC, c. 1910s
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique real photo postcard from the 1910s. It shows a pair of Edwardian men standing at the river's edge next to a collapsed boathouse and sinking boat.
"Hello There- got your card. This A.M. I sure was misinformed, "Oh Well" - not quite so far away after all. I'm sending this to your old, old address - you will get it. Picture is a scene at the river when ice went out. Warehouse, boat + fish houses were washed away. Sona.", reads the note written on the back.
The photo is in FAIR condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, missing upper left corner tip, several heavy creases and general stains.
