(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Bamforth & Co. postcard from 1910. It shows a It shows a smiling Edwardian girl sitting in a carriage by herself, "Better be alone than in bad company. I'm so lonesome here!"

"Dear Kid:- What plans have you made for the 4th. We have arranged a little picnic and would like for you to join us. We are going ____ on the island. Don't expect to go until about 2. o'clock and remain for the evening. Are you coming down Sun. If not write and let hear about this. Papa came home last eve.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains, postmark ink transfer on the front.
