Ghostly Confirmation Girl - E. Couchman - Albany, NY - CDV Photo, c. 1800s
(2 3/8 x 4 In) This is an original antique carte de visite photograph from the 1800s. It shows a ghostly Victorian girl dressed in a long veil for a Confirmation or First Holy Communion portrait. She's holding a bible or prayer card in her hands. Perhaps a trick of the light but it looks as if she only has three, extra long fingers on her right hand. Eerie! The portrait was taken by photographer E. Couchman at 45 South First Street in Albany, NY.
The photo is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, a few minor stains, trimmed corners.
