(6 3/4 x 5 3/4 In) This is an original antique scrapbook clipping and RPPC photograph from the 1910s. An eyewitness photo shows a military parade down the Rue National on Bastille Day 1918 in Tours, France, WWI soldiers carrying litter displaying a large floral arrangement.
"Tours- Bastille Day July 14- 1918- Taken on the rue National about 11:00 A.M.- Sgt Holmes- Roder Sgt.- These two non-coms carrying the floral offering were both members of my command.", is written in white scrapbooker's ink.
The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges.
