(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique postcard from the 1910s. It shows a wide-eyed Owl-wife with a stick tucked under her wing, Husband-Owl is staggering home at midnight, cigar in his beak and a bottle of booze under his wing. "Forgive Me Darling I Won't Do It Again".
"Dear Lulu:- Rec'd the music last Monday- Many thanks- I knew it already- We are very busy putting on a home talent. Mama is sick too. Snowing today. ___ sent us one of his pictures, they are sure good. One to mama + one to me. Ruth. (write)", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few small creases and stains.
