(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Auburn Post Card Mfg. Co. postcard from the 1910s. It shows a bald eagle perched over a pair of American flags, "OUR COUNTRY'S CALL".

That Humanity calls, and we're ready to go,
Ready to fight and to die, if need be;

"Dear Folks; Mr. Adams met me at Overton yesterday morning. I am staying with him for the present- school begins in the morning. My school house is the finest I ever saw. I will write more soon. E. M. C.", reads the message penciled on the back.
The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, general heavy creases.
