(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique embossed A. & S. postcard from the 1910s. It shows two young children playing with matches in a field of hay as a protective spirit watches over them, "The Guardian Angel".

Fon Du Lac, Wis. June 7, 1910- Dear Lily I forgot about your birthday but I will send you a card anyway and I hope you had a happy birthday and many more to come. How did you feel after the wedding? Try and write to me sometime after you have your vacation. - With love and kisses to you all from sister Minnie. P.S.- Did you have a good time when Maretta was there? Good-bye xxxxxxxxx", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, small tear at bottom edge, some stains on back side.

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage trade card from the 1800s. It shows three little sprite children trying to wrangle a feisty grasshopper into submission, "Use Muzzy's Starch".

The card is in GOOD condition, heavy wear at the edges, noticeable creases, a few minor stains.
