Put This In Your Garden to Keep the Squirrels Out - RPPC, c. 1920
(3 3/8 x 4 3/4 In) This is an original antique Artura paper real photo postcard from the early 1920s. It shows a young mother and her bundle of joy posing for a wintertime portrait in warm woolens and winter hats.
"Hello - Here is this picture - put it in your garden to keep the squirrels out. It isn't very good of either of us. Blanch Leslie was 6 months + 7 days old, she sure was fat- had one tooth. I'm on my way to Endicott.", reads the message penciled on the back.
The postcard is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, crease at bottom right corner, a few stains and scratches on the front.
