Thanksgiving Greetings - Postcard, c. 1910s
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Thanksgiving Series Number 926 embossed postcard from 1910. It shows a turkey, autumn scenery and blue cornflowers, "Thanksgiving Greetings".
"11-8-1913. Solon, Ia.- Dear Cousin:- Excuse my slowness in answering but its better late than never- well how are you making it now days- I am getting along just fine, Come and see me some time. As ever your cousin- Write Soon, Mary", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains.
