(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique undivided-back Illustrated Post Card & Nov. Co. postcard from 1905. It shows a robust and sporty Edwardian woman playing golf, other sporty ladies in scenes behind her are jogging, lifting weights, swimming, fencing and playing ball. 

"THE ATHLETIC GIRL
She is husky and strong, stout of limb.
She's "fast" (on the run) "In the swim"
To Box and to fence
Are "simply immense,"
But her best friends could scare call her slim"

The postcard is used and is in FAIR condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, general wear, creases and stains, significant paper loss on the back side.
