(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of THREE original antique postcards from the 1900s. They each depict a different scene from the Passion of Jesus Christ: The Dead Christ, Jesus Bound To A Column and Christ in the Arms of Mary.

"THE DEAD CHRIST. -- The lament of Mary over the dead body of Jesus as depicted in "The Passion Play", has moved thousands to sympathetic tears."

"JESUS BOUND TO A COLUMN. -- After the scourging and the crowning Jesus was bound to a column where He stood in pain and silent helplessness."

"CHRIST IN THE ARMS OF MARY. -- The scene at the foot of the cross, where Mary receives the dead body of her son, and Mary Magdalene sits with her to his home, stands near, is one of the most touching in the Passion drama."

The postcards are unused and are in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, some have small creases and stains.
