(2 1/2 x 4 1/8 In) This is an original antique carte de visite photograph from the 1870s. It shows a Victorian girl dressed in a long veil, her hair in tight ringlets posing for her Confirmation day portrait with a table full of house plants, a bible and is that a knife or a folding fan hanging off her waist? The portrait was taken by photographer A. H. Gentzel at 315 West Twelfth Street, Chicago, Illinois.

The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, a few minor stains, light contrast.
