(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Natural Color Post Card, E. C. Kropp Co. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of a "Lonesome Rattler" rattlesnake in the Texas desert. 

"A venomous snake having a series of horny interlocking joints at the end of the tail which make a sharp rattling sound when shaken. The common rattlesnake of the Northern United states and the diamond rattlesnake of the South are best known.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, some paper stuck and postmark ink transfer on the front.
