(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Deseret Book Company, C. T. American Art Colored postcard from the 1940s. It shows a bird's eye view of Memory Grove in City Creek Canyon, Salt Lake City, Utah.
"MEMORY GROVE - Within ten minutes walk of Salt Lake's business district is Memory Grove in City Creek Canyon. Ten acres of ground have been set aside by the city as a permanent memorial in honor of beautifying this park is being met by appropriations of the city commission, and the state legislature. The work of improving the ground is being conducted by the Service Star Legion of Utah assisted by the Salt Lake Commissioner of Parks. This park is now the admiration of all who see it.", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcard is unused and is in GOOD condition, minor wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, large stain on the back side.
