(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Desert Book Company, C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a "Bird's-Eye View" of a portion of Salt Lake City, Utah as seen looking North from an airplane. Photo by Hal Rumel.

"This is a most remarkable picture as seen by the eye of the bird man. It shows most of the historical points of interest and many new ones. In the foreground are the "Mormon" Temple Square, the Hotel Utah, the new Church Office building, Z. C. M. I. and other business houses. In the center are the L.D.S. buildings and in the distance the Utah State Capitol and L.D.S. Hospital. - YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND UTAH'S CENTENNIAL IN 1947.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges.
