(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Asheville Post Card Co. linen postcard from the 1940s. "Blue Shrine" by Ruby Altizer Roberts.

"BLUE SHRINE

Symbol of power that time cannot assuage,

Nor wind can move nor storm can ever mar,

These austere peeks are God's own acreage,

Haloed by sun, lit by the evening star.

Here sturdy flowers grow from creviced stone

And granite boulders purple,-violet spanned,

Moses, on peaks like these walked not alone

To catch a vision of the promised land.

Blue rugged mountains, reaching to the skies

Abound with strength . . . to these I lift my eyes."

The postcard is unused and is in EXCELLENT condition, light wear at the edges.
