Danae and the Shower of Gold - Tiziano Vecellio - Postcard, c. 1920s
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Italian-made R. & C. postcard from the 1920s. It shows artist Tiziano Vecellio's (Titian) painting "Danae and The Shower of Gold" reproduced from a photo taken by Alinari at the National Museum in Napoli, Italy.
The postcard is un-mailed, and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, heavy album marks at corners, a few minor stains, writing on the front.
