(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Republic Printing Company postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view on board the S. S. Edgewater Beach. "Edgewater Beach Yacht Club - Most Distinctive Cocktail Room in America - Edgewater Beach Hotel, Chicago".

"6/11 Dear Bobby: Will you tell your Mother that when she writes us now she must put "Chicago 40", on our letters? We will see you soon now I hope. Love - Aunt Lorraine.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, crease at one corner, postmark ink transfer on the front.
