(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Marken & Bielfeld Inc. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the Ghost Forest on Skyline Drive, Viriginia.

"More than a decade ago, a severe chestnut blight destroyed this woodland near Big Meadows and the damage has never been healed by nature. Skyline Drive passes directly by this unusual and interesting location.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains.
