(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of TWO original vintage R. W. Roseberry Co., E. C. Kropp Co. linen postcards from the 1930s. They each show a view of the giant ore pile at the Lead and Zinc mine in Joplin, Missouri.

"This scene is typical of Joplin's leading industry, zinc and lead mining."

"The mining industry alone has produced zinc and lead ores with a combined valuation of more than $650,000,000, since 1859."

"Webber Mine - Treece, Kansas - showing world's largest ore pile", reads the note written on the back of one.

The one postcard is used, the other is unused, both are in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
