(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of the "Holy Ghost" or "Dove" orchid at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, Missouri.

"The "Holy Ghost" or "Dove" Orchid (Peristeria elata), a Panamanian species. The Garden's collection of orchids, unsurpassed in any public institution, 30,000 plants in 1500 species and varieties, is housed at the Arboretum, Gray Summit, MO.", reads the description printed on the back. The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, album marks at corners.
