(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Stanley A. Piltz Company, Pictorial Wonderland Art Tone Series linen postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of Luther Burbank's Gardens in Santa Rosa, California. "Beneath the Cedar of Lebanon" Luther Burbank Lies at Rest".

"The home of Luther Burbank is located in the heart of the city of Santa Rosa. The beautiful grounds are open to the public and visited by thousands of interested tourists. The great plant master lies buried beneath the tall two-branched Cedar of Lebanon tree, which stands in the now famous gardens.", reads the description printed on the back. 

"Dear Lois: Thanks for the goodies you sent last week. Happy Halloween! Sonia", reads the note written on the back. Postcard mailed Oct. 30, 1976. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges.
