(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Southwest Arts & Crafts, Tichnor Bros. Inc. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows, "Mr. Burro, Earmarked For Victory".

"Few, in this motor age realize the important part played in the settlement anf development of the West by the patient, plodding burro. And not many know that the expression "earmarking" meant clipping the ears, as a sort of brand to denote ownership. But here we have a burro with his ears clipped as letters "V" to denote victory, showing that burros are not as dumb as they look.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains on the back side.
