(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Marken & Bielfeld Inc. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of "Nature's Freak Tree Growing Out Of House" in Winchester, Virginia. 

"Monday Evening - Williamsburg, VA. - Left Winchester this morning. Stopped at Monticello (Jefferson's Home) and at Ash Lawn (Morris's Home) and found a good tourist home here in Williamsburg. Will see the place tomorrow and should be home Thursday evening if the sister is ready to come with us. Love, M. L. S.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, creases at lower right corner.
