(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Collotype Co. postcard published for Arthur J. Merrill in the 1930s. It shows a sketch of the Pecos Mission Ruins in New Mexico. Signed by A. J. Merrill. 

"PECOS MISSION of NUESTRA Senora de Los Angeles was built in 1617 in the earliest Spanish-Indian type of architecture. All around it lie ruins of the ancient Pueblo of Cicuye, which dates back to 1348, and whose few descendants in 1838 joined their closest kinsmen, the Jemez Indians. Pecos Mission Ruins and surroundings is now a State Monument and is located about 25 miles east of Santa Fe, New Mexico.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor creases and stains.
