(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Sanborn Souvenir Co. postcard from the 1950s. It shows a view of the polar bears in the Natural Rock Zoo in City Park, Denver, Colorado.
"POLAR BEARS - The Bears at City Park live in very unique homes that look as if made of mountain granite. These are cast from impressions of natural rocks in the mountains. Here the bears have their dens and it all appears like a bit of the Rocky Mountains cropping up in Placid City Park. The Polar Bears are the latest variety of the bear family to arrive at the Zoo, which now has black, brown and grizzly in addition", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges.
