(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Marken & Bielfeld Inc. linen postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of Spangler's Spring in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

"SPANGLER'S SPRING, GETTYSBURG, PA. - This spring, at the foot of Culp's Hill furnished water for the wounded of both armies, when, at the close of hostilities on the night of the second day's battle, both the Blue and the Gray sought here, together, a drink of its refreshing water for themselves and their disabled comrades. A neat structure of granite now incloses the spring, and visitors to the field stop to drink from its historic waters.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, minor discoloration at the edges.
