(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original F. A. Moss "American Kid Series" postcard from 1910. It shows a drunk arriving home to an angry wife holding an alarm clock, "Backward-turn-backward- oh time in your flight." Signed by artist Frederick L. Cavally (FLC).

"4/20/13. Dear Lottie- Delighted to hear that you took first prize at Pinochle, also that your Father secured one. I will have to try a few hands with you at pinochle some time and learn the game more thoroughly. Brooklyn is a very difficult city to get around in and a stranger will need a guide every time. How does this card strike you? It strikes me alright. Look at the clock. That was a very pretty card that you sent me. Many thanks. Mother has not slept hardly any all week. The doctor was here this morning and I have greater hopes that she will steadily improve from now on. To-day is beautiful with the exception of the strong mind. Would love to have been with you last evening but had to relieve father as he needed the rest. Hoping that now we will be able to get together again in the near future. Most sincerely yours, Stanley.", reads the letter written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in EXCELLENT condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
