(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage The Washington News Company Colorchrome linen postcard from the 1930s. It shows a night-time view of The Washington Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Washington, D.C.

"THE WASHINGTON CATHEDRAL (Episcopal), Mt. St. Albans, fulfills George Washington's dream of "a church for national purposes". Not since the 14th Century has a Gothic Cathedral like this been built. In five years one of the finest Cathedrals in the world, larger than the Westminster Abbey, has risen above the city higher than the Washington Monument. The area and elevation of the Cathedral Close are the same as Solomon's Temple Plateau above Jerusalem. Length 500 feet, height 262 feet. It is now the last resting place of Woodrow Wilson, Admiral George Dewey, and other prominent Americans.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, blunted corner tips, writing on the back.
