(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Art Institute of Chicago postcard from the 1930s. It shows a reproduction of the painting "The Two Sisters, Valencia" by the Spanish painter Joaquin Sorolla (1863 - 1923).

"Dear Beryl: With one face averted, and the other screened from sun, the postures nevertheless give expression to both the persons and the scene. Now, what do you think of it? Uncle Joe", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
