(4 1/4 x 6 1/2 In) This is an original antique cabinet photograph from 1903. It shows a pair of children posing in fancy dance costumes. They are identified in writing on the back as, "Maxaud and Ralph Rae Farnau - Nov. 16, 1903." (If I can read the writing correctly). The photographer is Frank Wendt (1859-1930) in Boonton, N.J. Wendt was the protégé of Charles Eisenmann, a famous New York City photographer known for taking portraits of “human oddities” and circus performers.

The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, light contrast.
