It shows a glum Dutch boy pointing to a tombstone and a pennant flag for Plainfield, "Vy Don't Youse Send Dot Ledder to Plainfield - Are Youse Vaiting Till I'm Dead". An advertisement for Dutch Kid Pennant Greetings is printed on the back.

"Sample of our line of DUTCH KID PENNANT GREETINGS No. 972. 20 new designs. See description of this series on page 2 of our supplement. Our price with your town printed is 35 c. per 50 or 65 c. per 100, postpaid. Nyce Post Card Co., Vernfield, PA".

The postcard is unused and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, general stains.
