(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Lith. & Druck., E. Nister postcard from the 1900s. It shows a depiction of a medieval torture device known as the "Shrew's Fiddle" or "Neck Violin" which was used to punish and humiliate bickering women or in this case, "Für Freutfuchtige Weiber (For Happy Women)". Signed by artist Adolf Jodolfi.
The postcard is unused and is in EXCELLENT condition, light wear at the edges.
