(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Thayer Publishing Co. postcard from the 1910s. It shows a man using candles to explore, "The Ice Palace on Summit of Mt. McClellan, Colorado. 

 "Well Ernst this is Wednesday morning. Have been awful busy this week so far. Mon. we washed and did a few odd jobs, and in afternoon went down to Chas. Mary's Face is better. Yesterday we ironed, churned, and went to Benton. Saw Ralph up town he looks good. I went to the dentist but could not get any work done. He is so busy. Well this is all. As ever, N L M", reads the message written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, some image loss at upper right corner, a few minor stains.
