Hindu Temple and Onyx Temple - Frozen Niagara Entrance, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky - Postcard, c. 1940s

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Mammoth Cave Operating Committee, C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of Hindu Temple and Onyx Temple rock formations at the Frozen Niagara Entrance of Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. 

"Hindu Temple is located in the east end of Mammoth Cave, near the famed Frozen Niagara. The region around the Temple abounds in mystic beauty - onyx curtains and thousands of stalagmites and stalactites so closely grouped that the pathway which we must travel through this onyx-lined mystery chamber is very narrow and winding.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
