(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Jay Leck, C. T. American Art linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the first spring, "Devil's Spring" in Carlsbad Cavern, New Mexico.

"The Devil's Spring is the first point of interest one meets when touring the Carlsbad Cavern, as it is located a short way back from the main entrance, and is an excellent illustration of how columns are formed by the drip of lime-water from the roof. While there are many springs throughout the Carlsbad Cavern the moisture of the air is such that visitors seldom get thirsty. Data by the U. S. National Park Service.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
