Carefree Florida - Beach Walk - Postcard, c. 1940s
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Tropical Florida Series, C. T, Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1950s. It shows two women walking along the beach in their swimsuits.
"Greetings to all - it is like a balmy spring day - had fun coming down on train - more ___ on the loose - oh that hot! Staff didn't know me - thought I looked just too too! (to much for him) Found a beautiful basket of flowers for me in the hotel room - Your capt. was on board the boat - Great hope - Helen.", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
