(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Supply Dept., Loyal Order of Moose, C. T. Art Colortone linen postcard from the 1950s. It shows a view of the Flag Raising Ceremony at Mooseheart, Illinois. "Notice To Appear for Initiation - WOMEN OF THE MOOSE - I have the pleasure to inform you of your election to membership in our Chapter. Please present yourself for initiation at Moose Hall on ____ o'clock. You should be prepared to pay dues amounting to $____.", reads a form stamped on the back. 

"MOOSEHEART - The City of Childhood and School that Trains For Life is owned and maintained by the Loyal Order of Moose at Mooseheart, Illinois, forty miles due west of Chicago, on Highway 31. Here dependent children of deceased members of the Fraternity from the United States and Canada, are trained for life in a model city of homes, schools, churches, shops, stores, offices, playgrounds. The Child City covers over two square miles and comprises 110 buildings.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, minor wear at the edges, a few minor stains.
