(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Tichnor Quality Views linen postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of Fort Marion National Monument Tower and Hot Shot Oven in St. Augustine, Florida.

"HOT SHOT OVEN AT FORT MARION, ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA. The Hot Shot Oven, located near the Water Battery at Fort Marion National Monument is ingeniously designed to provide a continuous supply of red hot cannon balls to be fired from the battery. From the main watch tower a view of the ocean is to be had."

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains on the back.
