(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage C. T. Art-Colortone, Duval News Company linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a classic large letter, "Greetings from Jacksonville, Florida" with a different landmark shown in each letter of JACKSONVILLE.

"Dear Mom + Dad - It has worried us a lot - We don't have to wear sweaters now - I'll bet you had a cold spell - Did the wheat come up. Tell old lady Kaenecke to go to the devil. The Germans at Sylvan have a hell of a lot to learn. Got a letter from Whang Leathers - he didn't know about Joyce - thought she had just dropped school - so you see it is known very widely - Donna wrote a letter a couple of days ago. Love Nellis.", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, writing on the back.
