(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Cech. C. Nixon, E. C. Kropp Co. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a man fishing in a stream at Yellowstone National Park, "Trout Fisherman's Paradise".

"Some trout fisherman prefer lake fishing; others like rivers. But the ideal fishing is in rushing Mountain streams where beautiful natural scenery adds to outing pleasure. This picture is typical of Western "Fisherman's Paradise". A Colorchrome reproduction of an actual photograph.", reads the description printed on the back.

"July 7th - This is a real picture of the way the fisherman look up here in the park fishing- Mom saw men and women in Hip Boots all along the streams we passed as we went along through the park. There is not many rivers + lakes in Yellowstone. I don't see how they pick one out- we are staying in the mountains - the Wyo. + Montana Line is in the W. end of park. Love Mom- so far Mom hasn't seen anything to buy.", reads the note written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
