(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Tichnor Brothers Inc. postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of the Arch Castle at San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida.

"The massive arch, built without a keystone, is one of the finest constructions of its kind; of Moorish design. The stairway on the right was formerly used as a ramp to transport cannon from the ground to the terreplein above. Construction was started in 1672-- completed in 1756. Built entirely of coquina, this fortification is one of the finest preserved in the world today.", reads the description printed on the back.
