(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Deseret Book Company, C. T. American Art linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge near Brigham City, Utah.

"BIRD REFUGE - The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, 12 miles west of Brigham City, Utah is the largest of its kind in the world. 64,000 acres are under water in this game bird sanctuary. Its position on the northern shore of Great Salt Lake makes it a great natural breeding place for water fowls. It has been improved and enlarged. Every year thousands of migrants are cared for here. Three hundred different types of birds have been observed at this sanctuary.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges.
